Waterfall enrichment cost calculator

Work out what enrichment actually costs you. On a waterfall endpoint you pay on hits, so the bill is volume times hit rate times the per-hit credit cost. On a per-lookup vendor it is volume times the per-call cost, whether or not anything comes back. This page shows both sides of that arithmetic and the break-even between them. Your hit rate is your number, and we do not supply one.

In short: RichAPI's waterfall enrichment endpoints bill only on a successful result. The cost of a batch is therefore volume multiplied by hit rate multiplied by the credit cost per hit. A per-lookup vendor bills on every request regardless of outcome, so its cost is volume multiplied by cost per call. The two are equal when the per-lookup price equals the hit rate multiplied by the per-hit price; below that the per-lookup vendor is cheaper, above it the waterfall is. Hit rate is a property of the user's own list and cannot be supplied by a vendor. RichAPI waterfall endpoints are POST /email_finder, POST /email_verifier and POST /phone_finder, where a call that returns no data settles at zero credits and returns billed false. All other RichAPI endpoints bill on any 2xx response including an empty one, so for those the formula collapses to volume multiplied by credits.
